How to check if application is run through cron?
The command
ps -ef | grep -v 'grep' | grep -v 'zsync' | grep -v 'pidof'
does not work if the application was run by cron, because cron's command line was different.
Any ideas how to detect if the application was run through cron?

It's not possible.
Most of the time cron runs your job, it does so as a different user (maybe not on all systems).
What can you do instead?
Start your task with a particular environment.
Automatic switches are well-known in the art. One example is described in U.S. Pat.
